  • The orchestral tracks

    These are the six different orcherstral tracks. To enable as many participants as possible to have fun and grow as musicians at Side by Side, the camp provides tracks for different levels and experiences. Subscribe to our newsletter to download the music for each track.

    ADVANCED ORCHESTRA

    Saturday 16th June (after lunch) - Wednesday 20th June (evening)

    For you who have been playing your instrument for more than 7 years and are 15 years or older. You have very good orchestra experience and come very well prepared on your music. You care for yourself at the camp or have an adult with you. Your camp starts Saturday 16th June at 13.00, and ends with the FINAL CONCERT​ II, Wednesday 20th June at 18.00.

    PRE-ADVANCED ORCHESTRA

    Saturday 16th June (after lunch)- Wednesday 20th June (evening)

    For you who have played your instrument for 6-8 years and are 13-16 years old. You have good orchestra experience and come well prepared on your music. You care for yourself at the camp or have an adult with you. Your camp starts Saturday 16th June at 14.15, and ends with the FINAL CONCERT​ II, Wednesday 20th June at 18.00.

    UPPER INTERMEDIATE ORCHESTRA

    Saturday 16th June (after lunch) - Tuesday 19th June (afternoon)

    For you who played your instrument for 5-7 years and are 12-15 years old. You have good orchestra experience and have practiced on your music before coming to the camp. The UPPER INTERMEDIATE ORCHESTRA is a new track for 2018. The track is meant to be a natural step between the INTERMEDIATE ORCHESTRA and the PRE-ADVANCED ORCHESTRA. You care for yourself at the camp, have an adult with you or notify us if you need help during your stay. Your camp starts Saturday 16 June at 13.00, and ends with the Festival concert, Tuesday 19 June at 15.00.

    INTERMEDIATE ORCHESTRA

    Saturday 16th June (afternoon)- Tuesday 19th June (afternoon)

    For you who played your instrument 3-5 years and are 10-13 years old. You have some orchestra experience and have practiced on your music before coming to the camp. You take care of yourself at the camp, have an adult with you or notify us if you need help during your stay at the camp. Your camp starts Saturday 16 June at 2.30 pm and ends with the Festival concert, Tuesday 19 June at 15.00.

    BASIC ORCHESTRA

    Sunday 17th June (after lunch) - Tuesday 19th June (afternoon)

    For you who played your instrument for 2-4 years and are 8-11 years old. You have some orchestra experience and have practiced on your music before coming to the camp. New for 2018 is that the BASIC ORCHESTRA meet for three days, which is one day shorter than previous years. You care for yourself at the camp, have an adult with you or notify us f you need help during your stay at the camp. Your camp starts Sunday, June 17th at 12.30, and ends with the Festival Concert, Tuesday 19 June at 15.00.

    BEGINNERS´ ORCHESTRA

    Sunday 17th June - Tuesday 19th June (three mornings and Tuesday afternoon)

    For you who have recently started playing your instrument and are 6-9 years old. You have taken lessons for at least one semester. If you play a string or wind instrument, you rent/own your own, and know how to pack and unpack it from its case. No preparation is necessary for this track, although example music will be available together with the rest of the parts, for teachers who would like to know the level. You have an adult with you. Your camp takes place Sunday 17 - Tuesday 19 June 09.00-12.00, and ends with Lunch Concert at 12.00 and the Festivals Concert, Tuesday 19th June at 3pm.
