BEGINNERS' CHOIR & ORCHESTRA

BEGINNERS' ORCHESTRA and BEGINNERS' CHOIR practice and have their concert together. They make up the BEGINNERS track which is mainly aimed at children in primary school. The orchestra is suitable for those who have practiced their instrument for at least one semester. As a choir participant, you do not need to have sung in a choir before.
Participants

Age: ca 7–10 years
Instrument experience: At least one semester
Orchestra experience: Little to none
Participation fee: 275 SEK
Number of participants: The track accepts ca 140 participants in total

No preparations required.

Apply for your participants as a group for a greater chance at getting everyone admitted during the selection process. Also, please help them prepare for camp by practicing the repertoire together.

The leaders for BEGINNERS’ ORCHESTRA are all teachers at the Schools of the Arts in Gothenburg and established freelance musicians.

Anna & Ronny receive those who play brass instruments, those who play string instruments will meet Lina & Carin or Tobias & Marie; the woodwinds will get acquainted with Willy & Caroline; and the percussionists get to meet Emil.
