  • PRE-ADVANCED ORCHESTRA is mainly for high school youth. The track suits those who wish to take their musical skills to the next level and who maybe aim to switch to ADVANCED ORCHESTRA in a few years. You will be coached by musicians from Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra during the camp days, and will perform side by side with them at several concerts.

    PARTICIPANTS

    Age: ca 14–18 years

    Instrument experience: 6–8 years

    Orchestra experience: Good

    Participation fee: 450 SEK/participant

    TRACK INFO

    The track starts on Saturday June 18 after lunch and ends with Closing Concert on Wednesday June 22 in the evening.

     

    Participates in the following concerts:

    Festival Concert – Tuseday June 21, Scandinavium
    Closing Concert – Wednesday June 22, Concert Hall (Stora Salen)

     

    Preparations:

    Participants should be very well rehearsed on the sheet music at camp start

    TIME FRAME

    The times are approximate until the schedule comes out, and rounded to the closest half hour. Registration is open from 10 am on the first day.

     

    Saturday June 18: 14.00–18.00

    Sunday June 19: 9.00–18.00

    Monday June 20: 9.00–19.00

    Tuesday June 21: 10.00–18.30

    Wednesday June 22: 11.00–20.00

    Conductor

    Daniela Musca

     

    Daniela was born in Rome and is a trained orchestra conductor. She has been hired by the Belgian Chamber Philharmonic, the HR Symphony Orchestra, the Frankfurt Opera och Frankfurt Museum Orchestra. In 2017 she was a semi finalist at Georg Solti Conducting Competition in Frankfurt and her interpretation of Eugen Onegin at Staatstheater Darmstadt (2017) was awarded the prize for best musical interpretation at Hessian Theatre Days.
