WIND & STRING ORCHESTRA
WIND & STRING ORCHESTRA is divided into a string orchestra and a wind orchestra with percussion. Here you get to take on a larger responsibility for your section and get a look into the repertoire of a string and wind orchestra.
For you who have played for 5–7 years and are about 13-17 years old. You have quite a lot of orchestra experience and are well prepared on your music.

Your camp starts Sunday, June 20 and ends Wednesday, June 23.
Open for all instruments.
No participation fee. To participate, you need access to a computer, mobile or surf pad, with camera, external audio source, microphone or handsfree, internet, and an email address. The sign-up period for Side by Side: Digital was open until June 3. You can make a late sign-up until June 18, but some instruments may not be available when camp starts.

Marjolein has a double degree in flute and wind band conducting. She grew up in the southern Netherlands where there is a big tradition in wind band music, and she has worked a lot with youth orchestras. Marjolein is a flutist in the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and has attended Side by Side for several years as an instructor for the oldest participants. And as a conductor since 2020.
