    More information about Side by Side 2026 will be available at the end of November.

    Welcome to Side by Side, an international music camp in Gothenburg, Sweden for young singers and musicians ca 6–23 years old who love to sing in a choir or play in an orchestra. The camp is divided into different choir and orchestra tracks that you can participate in depending on your interests and circumstances. Side by Side is organized by Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and has around 2000 participants from around the world. The next camp is 12–17 June 2026.

  • News

    First repertoire release!
    There is now a piece of music featured for each track at Side by Side! Try playing or singing the song, and show it to your teacher to see if that track is suitable for your level! More repertoire will be released at the end of November. Go to the respective track page to find the repertoire.

    Camp Dates 2026
    The next Side by Side is June 12–17, 2026. This means that Beginners officially starts camp on Friday. Other tracks start on Saturday or Sunday. Application information and repertoire will be available at the end of November. Applications open in January.

  • Do You Want to Join the Camp?

    All young singers and musicians ca 7–23 years old are welcome to apply to Side by Side. Start by looking at the track pyramid for a quick overview of our age groups and levels, then visit the different track pages below. There you will find more information about each the specific track and link to the application info/application.

    The camp has seven orchestra tracks and five regular choir tracks. For participants who need special support in learning, we offer the function track OPEN CHOIR.

  • Adiemus, Scandinavium 2024

    This year's camp had seven concerts. At the Festival Concert in Scandinavium over 2000 people participated. In this video, Adiemus from Songs of Sanctuary by Karl Jenkins is performed.
