ADVANCED ORCHESTRA is mainly for older youth and young adults. The track suits those who wish to take their musical skills to the next level and who maybe aim at advanced musical studies or a future career in music. You will be coached by musicians from Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra during the camp days, and will perform side by side with them at several concerts.

Participation fee: SEK 500/participant
The track starts on Saturday June 17 and ends with Closing Concert on Wednesday June 21 in the evening

Participants are very well prepared on all sheet music when the camp begins.

Manuel Lopez Gomez
Manuel is an internationally recognized conductor from Venezuela and has worked with, among others, Washington National Symphony, Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and Sydney Symphony Orchestra. He worked closely with Gustavo Dudamel for several years and today he is the music director of the Bogotá Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. For Universal Music Italy, Manuel recently conducted and recorded the world premiere of the opera Atahualpa by Carlo Enrico Pasta in Perú. The first time he conducted at Side by Side was in Lisebergshallen, 2016.
