Booking Info & Final Booking

Book the number of slots and the instruments/parts stated in the admission notice. In addition to playing/singing participants, you must also book slots for accompanying adults. Not everyone in your group may have received a slot. They will be on the waiting list until April 29 when admissions close. Email sidebyside@gso.se if you need to make any changes.

Person 1 is the main booker and receives confirmation for everyone in the group. Therefore, enter an adult/responsible person as Person 1. Person 2, 3, and so on will receive confirmation for their own booking if an email address is provided. The maximum per booking is 20 people. If your group is larger, you must make two bookings. Always enter a responsible adult as Person 1.

If accommodation is offered in the admission notice, you must enter the check-in day and number of nights for each person in the final booking.

Book the whole group together if possible. If not, the link can be forwarded to each participant for individual booking.

Teachers/choir leaders who made a group application may have forwarded the link to you. Contact the teacher if you have questions about the group’s participation or if you wonder whether you should attend as an accompanying adult.

Participation fee: 550 SEK (incl. 25% VAT) Beginners and Open Choir 275 SEK

Accommodation: 150 SEK per person per night incl. breakfast and dinner (incl. 12% VAT)

Camp counselor group: 150 SEK per child for the entire camp

Liseberg June 14: Entrance ticket 65 SEK per participant

The same fees apply to all participants, including accompanying adults.

Participants under 12 years are recommended to have an accompanying adult present at the camp who is available all day and responsible for the child, especially during transfers, meals, and activities outside rehearsals. This can be the group leader, an accompanying parent, or another adult.

Children in different tracks have different schedules and rehearse in different locations, so it is important to have enough adults present. Side by Side is a camp in the middle of Gothenburg, which means participants must move between different venues around the Concert Hall in a busy area.

Accompanying adults must be booked and pay the participation fee. Several adults can share a slot as long as they take turns being present. If so, write this in the field Additional information / Övrig information.

You can book a slot in the camp counselor group only if you have been offered this in the acceptance email.

To stay overnight at Side by Side accommodation, you must be at least 16 years old or accompanied by an adult. All accompanying adults must be booked and pay both the participation and accommodation fees.

Beginners: Each child must be dropped off and picked up by an adult who is also available by phone during the camp. This adult does not need to be booked or pay the participation fee.

Open Choir: If the participant needs an assistant for lunch or transfers, the assistant must also be booked and pay the participation fee.

For safety reasons, only people with a booked slot may be in the venues.

You can book a slot in a camp counselor group only if you have been offered this in the acceptance email.

A camp counselor group consists of up to 15 children and has a staff member from Side by Side who takes care of the participants during the camp. Camp counselors work during the day, and children without an adult may not stay overnight at Side by Side and must be picked up and dropped off each day in connection with scheduled camp activities.

Our camp counselors generally do not have special pedagogical training. They also do not have experience caring for children with disabilities or special needs. The child must be able to follow instructions to function well in a camp counselor group.

In the Beginners track, each child must be dropped off and picked up by an adult who is also available by phone during the camp. This adult does not need to be included in the booking or pay the participation fee.

Camp accommodation slots at Side by Side are limited, but you can book external housing on your own. Note that we do not take responsibility for external bookings.

If you book your own accommodation, breakfast and dinner included for residents at the Side by Side accommodation are not included. We provide an example list of hotels and hostels on the page External Housing.
