Come celebrate our 10th anniversary and Gothenburg's 400th anniversary with us! The music camp organizes seven concerts and a sing-along concert in June. The concerts feature camp participants as well as Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble, and more.
NB! All dates and times at Side by Side are based on the 24-hour clock and CEST (Central European Summer Time).

SIDE BY SIDE: PRE-REHEARSAL
PRE-REHEARSAL AT THE CONCERT HALL (KONSERTHUSET) 4 & 13 JUNE
How do you prepare for Side by Side? Come do a pre-rehearsal with us! It gives you a fantastic opportunity to meet other participants as well as the conductors Ron Davis Alvarez, Ida Rosén-Hamrå and Birgitta Mannerström Molin before camp.
This year's pre-rehearsal is split over two days – one day for choirs and one for orchestras. Both rehearsals are at Konserthuset here in Gothenburg. Enter via the reception/stage entrance from Viktor Rydbergsgatan 4. You don't need to register - just show up! Bring your sheet music and please arrive well in advance before we start.

Want to make the summer a little bit better for music loving kids? For Side by Side to be the experience of a lifetime for our young participants, many adults are needed who contribute with their commitment, their time, their hearts, and their hands. Therefore, we welcome volunteers who want to pick up some work shifts and create wonderful summer memories during the music camp together with children and young people from near and far!

CONCERT PROGRAM
Side by Side offers seven concerts, and one sing-along concert.
The concert program includes the powerful Festival Concert in Scandinavium. Here you are welcome to celebrate Side by Side's 10-years anniversary and Gothenburg's 400-year anniversary together with 2000 young singers and musicians, Gothenburg Symphony and Vocal Ensemble.
10 YEARS OF SIDE BY SIDE
Side by Side by El Sistema is one of Gothenburg's jubilee projects, and fittingly enough, we celebrate our 10th camp at the same time as the city has its big 400th anniversary. This year's color is a rainbow of all past camp colors. Join us on a nostalgia trip of videos and memories through the 10 years of Side by Side!
