Christel is a music teacher and music therapist. She works in Partille School of the Arts with choir and orchestra for students with special needs and also teaches music in the elementary and special-aid elementary schools. She likes using images, signs and colors as teaching-aids.

Apply for your participants as a group for a greater chance at getting everyone admitted during the selection process. Also, please help them prepare for camp by practicing the repertoire together.

OPEN ORCHESTRA is for you play the violin and who attend a special-aid class or need extra support while learning. You have played for at least one semester and are about 8–18 years old. You have some orchestra experience and have practiced on your music before joining the camp.
You do not need to read sheet music. You play by ear, by numbers or by colors. The method you will meet during camp is easy to learn and you can watch a video of it here below. Your camp starts Sunday, June 20 and ends Tuesday, June 22.
You could submit your Expression of Interest for OPEN ORCHESTRA on December 2–February 7. The admission notice will be sent out during February. If you are offered a slot, you must reply YES and confirm your participation within the time span given in the notice. The participation fee is 450 SEK per person. OPEN ORCHESTRA is a part of BASIC ORCHESTRA.
